Heritage :Kolkata -St. John’s Church

St. John’s Church

St. John’s Church is a prime heritage place in Kolkata. Located behind the Governor’s House, this is the former Cathedral of the City. It has several important heritage sites including Job Charnok’s (founder of the city) Memorial, Black Hole Monument, War Memorial and a prime art piece – a Zoffany’s painting on last supper. There are many writings on St. John’s Church. Here are some photos to visualise the sites, till you visit them in your next visit to the city.
